Lever House

When in NYC I love to see the current art installation are at the Lever House, corner of 54th and Park Ave.  Surrounded by glass on 3 sides, this lobby  it allows me to make a quick stop to satisfy my hunger for art while I rush to my day of appointments.

The present exhibit is "Land Mines" by Paula Hayes, a large aquirium and garden installation.

Paula Hayes, maker of bulbous glass terrariums and idiosyncratic gardens, has produced a string of exhibitions, public and private garden commissions, and new works in her Brooklyn and East Village studios over the last few years.  Here is the a video of the making of Land Mines.
