New Orleans... a city filled with amazing food, interesting people, great jazz and traditions like no other. Last Saturday night was the first of the Mardi Gras parades, Krewe du Vieux, noted for wild satire and adult themes, so un New England.... just loved it! This year's theme was Crimes Against Nature. Sorry no pictures of the parade we were busy holding our place in line for a special birthday dinner at Galatoires, the grande dame of New Orleans old-line restaurants. Since 1902 things have not changed at Galatoires, totally Timeless Cool. After dinner we hit the streets... partying the night away. Happy Birthday Candace...you are Timeless Cool!
