Simon Pearce...Timeless Cool

I have been fortunate throughout my career to have had the opportunity to visit numerous companies and view how different products are made. Each trip has been fascinating, each product unique, taking me to many beautiful destinations. I have seen crystal, glass, porcelain, jewelry, sterling flatware, writing instruments, and watches all being made by skilled craftsmen. I am in awe of the workmanship and the countless hours that go in to each piece. These visits are informational and very inspirational. I never seem to tire or quench my thirst for more.

Last week I had the pleasure of visiting one of my favorite's Simon Pearce. Simon started his first glassblowing business in Ireland in 1971 and then moved to Quechee, Vermont in 1981 to escape high energy costs and European business constraints. Today Simon Pearce glass, pottery and home accessories are sold nationwide. He has created timeless, yet modern classics for our homes with casual elegance. My visit only confirmed all that I already knew...a great company, wonderful employees, the best product, and an amazing family....All Very Timeless Cool!

Just look at this photo from their catalog...what could be more perfect for those berries than the Woodbury bowl.
