At the recent gift show I previewed the new designs from Alessi. Great pieces, many that I want to own....and I am parring down! Here are a few of my favorites!

| Designed by well-known Hong Kong graphic designer Alan Chan, who has also undertaken the production of his own high quality tea. The tea strainer comes in the form of a bird in a birdcage. It was inspired by the social tradition in Chinese history of bird fanciers taking their pet birds to tea in exquisite birdcages to tea. |
