love boutique hotels and am always on the hunt for a new hideaway. I spent this past weekend in Santa Monica and stayed at the Viceroy on Ocean Avenue... Very hip and cosmopolitan.....great people watching.... As we checked in, we pass a handsome young man in one of the big oversized leather chairs in the lobby, I am sure he was someone.....but of course, for the life of me can not figure out who??? As we passed I heard him say he was in for the weekend and has been filming in the dessert...... I would have been content to just hang in the lobby for a few days. A side from the beautiful people everywhere the decor was chic, eclectic, in a Timeless Hollywood way. If you are looking for some night life it is the place to be...a great DJ Friday and Saturday nights at the pool!
