New Men's Timepiece "The Classic" designed by Evan Yurman

Arriving in stores this month is the latest collection of men's timepieces, The Classic, designed by chief watch designer and David's son, Evan Yurman. The attention to detail is sure to make this a timeless classic, Swiss movement, guilloche dial work (a French engraving technique that features intricate engine-turned details), and of course Yurman's signature chevron braid around the watchcase. Very handsome watch...I’d wear one....hint hint

Timeless Cool: Sand Art by Kseniya Simonova

Timeless Cool: Sand Art by Kseniya Simonova

Sand Art by Kseniya Simonova

I normally do not post on Tuesdays but I thought that this was worth sharing.......

Ukrainian aritist Kseniya Simonova  won Ukraine's version of "America's Got Talent" in August. Watch her as she uses a giant light box, dramatic music, and her "sand painting" skills to interpret Germany's invasion and occupation of Ukraine during WWII.

Amazing.............

More great finds for your home.....

Some fabulous vintage that I found while on a quest for timeless treasures.... The antique prints above are Lorrain Landscapes followed by early 1800's hand colored botanicals, both in fabulous antique frames. These look fabulous on stark white walls mixed with contemporary cool......

Elf on a Shelf : A Christmas Tradition?

I  have anxiously been awaiting October to post this, I didn't want to rush the season.

Ok....now I know that I am really getting old. What is this "Elf on a Shelf" stuff? I thought I knew it all.....Santa getting his beard stuck in the door, the Tooth Fairy sprinkling her fairy dust on her way out the window, the Easter Bunny and his black jelly beans.......but who is this new guy.....Elf?

Well for all of you who might have missed this listen up.....this is important stuff!

Year after year children (and adults) are always wondering how Santa really knows who has been naughty or nice? Well here the scoop, after much urging by the elves and Mrs. Claus, Santa has finally let his secret out in "The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition" Book. It comes with your very own North Pole Pixie Elf......OMG....now I have someone who can watch my children since they are far away. You are not too old for this........... I am sending you each one tomorrow!!
