Timeless......... Black and White even at Christmas

The older I get, the more black and white I become. Is it because the combo of black and white is so timeless, serene and uncluttered? It never seems to loose it's edge! Not to say that I don't love a shot of great color amongst all that black and white.....there will be great big red ribbons on those holiday packages.
