This week I crossed paths with an interesting woman who is involved with importing items from Kenya. Her stories intrigued me and the product I found facinating.
The amazing story of how this venture has enriched the lives of a little village, given women jobs, given them the opportunity to learn to read, and then with the monies raised provided eye exams and eyeglasses, only made the product more incredible. Take a look at this amazing little knitted lamb, all done in wool, that has been spun on old bicycle wheels, then colored with vegetable dyes, and signed by the artist that made them. Lamby Loo may be purchased at http://www.lbgreen.com/ItemDetail.aspx?id=63672.
