Heirlooms of Tomorrow, timeless jewels......... we are seeing more and more moonstones being used by designers in their collections. I was recently told by a stone dealer that not all are drawn to moonstones, but those that are possess great qualities ........hmmmmm. History has said that the wearing of moonstones strengthens intuition and ones capacity to understand.

Creative Entertaining

I am always looking for unusual or non traditional items to use on my tables. It creates interest and I personally get satisfaction from the challenge of finding something that did not cost a ton of money. Thinking out of the box can create simple but dramatic table settings. Here is an example of where traditionally flowers are used at weddings for the centerpieces, but to create the look we wanted at my daughters wedding we used apples. It created a drop dead look for not many dollars. The best was, it was unexpected!

Another great trick candle light.....you can never can have too many candles. Candle light can transform a room. Votive Votive everywhere.........

I love a great skirt. You know the kind you can wear with a great tee or cardigan, dress it up or down..........I saw this skirt in the window of Chanel recently, it did stop me in my tracks and I have been thinking about it every since, actually the word might be obsessed (and I am not like that). The skirt had floating layers with jersey rosettes sprinkled throughout. Unbelievable.....and with a most unbelievable price tag. At least I have the photo and I can dream.

Unfortunately the photo does not do justice to the color of these amazing Mexican Fire Opals. The fiery color, the beautiful orange were electric.
